3.MY NAME IS KHAN:The film has already become a global phenomenom....critically highly appreciated,comercially raking in moolah...RIZWAN KHAN proved that acting is not about different hair-do's or 8 pack abs or marketing gimmicks...he proved that roles are essayed with ease and spontaneity...SRK has essayed the role of an autistic with such perfection that the role haunts you long after you have left the cinema hall..the innocence depicted...the determination portrayed..has not been seen in recent times....khan is at his scintillating best...he captures the movie,elevates it to an unfathomed height doing somewhat for the lacklustre editing in second half....shahrukh has set a benchmark for everyone to surpass him and his acting skills...his acting was not a dissertation like the other khan..but its spontaneous,very spontaneous...you dont know what you are going to get next! I WANNA HAVE SEX NOW,NOW!!can anyone demand sex from his spouse more innocently than that...no one can!shahrukh has excelled in terms unparalleled leaving behind all criticism about his acting...shahrukh has rewritten the rules of acting...the movie has already garnered 198 crores worldwide in just 29 days of its release!!!!
4.CHAK DE INDIA!: kabir khan is another khan which tsunamised the box office!A national game in deplorable condition...gender bias prevailing in extreme quanta...authority corrupted,a personal insult to be wiped out...everything almost non-conducive for a national women's hockey coach...added to all of the above personal rivalry and state-wise lobbying of the players!One man could do the miracle....he could rewrite 'REMEMBER THE TITANS' for india...his name was KABIR KHAN..and he did it...shahrukh looked the best in this movie till date...his voice was stern..his mannerism was authoritative..his heart felt a grief that transcended into your heart...sharukh was at his empahtic best...his character had a depth and he even outdid the depth..he surpassed all inhibition to churn out the best character in hindi cinema ever and the best sports movie ever and and and the sport anthem of our country..chak de india!such was the influence of the movie that it injected a new life into hockey by diverting the attention of masses to the plight of hockey...sahrukh carried the movie alone on his shoulders...and he not only carried it..he went and nailed the name of the movie amongst the top movies of bollywood cinema!!I bet no other could have done justice to the role...no one..shahrukh not only did justice to the role but also imparted a decree to be followed while acting!period!
5.BAAZIGAR:When no one dared to essay an anti-hero role,king khan did it with utmost of conviction..and won hefty accolades....khan was hineous..clever..yet he was romantic..the way he mixed his romanticism with his revenge..his pleasure with his motive..was a class act! 'JEET KAR HAARNE WALE KO BAAZIGAR KEHTE HAIN' this dialogue sets the tone of the movie...loosely based on a novel 'the dying kiss' this movie will be remembered for the scene where SRK throws shilpa shetty from the terrace.. khan assumed a license to kill and he killed at his will,with ease...his dangerous eyes,his dangerous smile were all fantastic.the climax was heart tearing...a man fighting for his family..his mother...being almost killed by the culprit and then you could see the revenge in shahrukh's eyes and at last thew ay he plunges the iron rod into dilip tahil's bowels and then dying in his mother's arms...saying..'maa mujhe teri god me sona hai..main bahut dino se soya nai hun'...its the most empahtic revenge movies of all times..shahrukh gave it a clinical treatment...gave it novelty...gave it the much needed villainous features coupled with a somewhat underplayed romantic aspect!!!Will always be remembered whenever revenge and motives shall be discussed in bollywood!!!!

Shahrukh Khan{from the epiglottis}, is now not a bollywood actor...he is not a superstar or megastar or even a star!
YOU WANNA KILL ME FOR SAYING THAT..HOLD IT!READ AHEAD......He is now the biggest phenomenom worldwide in the entertainment sector with a fan following bigger than even tom cruise,george clooney and brad pitt!!!!!!!just type'srk more popular than tom cruise' on google and see the results!
My first encounter with the man was on a 70mm silver screen when my uncle took me to a single screen theatre to watch DDLJ....From that day to this moment the man has enthralled me like no-one!There was a dialogue in DDLJ: 'mujhe aaj tak ye baat samajh me nai aati ki log apni poori zindagi ek ladki ke saath guzaar lete hain!' But i can say with pride that i can spend my whole life with you as my favourite person on screen and off screen! I am a romantic..romance keeps me alive and when you love romancing...SRK is gonna be your fav. coz no one can romance like him on screen...he can romance even a log of wood and even then reduce you to bucket full of tears!People over the years have said his romance is unreal-to them-i say since you inherently can't romance like him so you end up making such comments!!! And that's true..we criticise something basically because we find ourselves incapable of doing that thing!!!
From being a young guy with unruly hair in deewana days to the anti hero in baazigar/darr/anzaam to the quitessential romantic hero in ddlj/kkhh/mohabbatein/k3g/khnh/devdas/veer zara SHAHRUKH has come a long way...now he displays a versatility in roles as evidenced in swades/chak de/mnik....People crib and cry about his acting capabilities...to them i say-honourable men...when no one experimented with roles and characters,SRK churned out baazigar/darr/anzaam!!!!! Ironically these movies were turned down by one of the so called versatile actor bearing the same title..i hope u know who!lol!
Churning out blockbusters is not easy but when you have bb movies like DDLJ/KKHH/KHNH/K3G/OM SHANTI OM/RNBDJ in your kitty coupled with dozens of other hits and superhits..you certainly deserve to be called 'the king khan'.....undoubtedly he is the most popular figure in bollywood now and deserves to be called the only superstar after AMITABH BACHCHAN because he has been constant both in number of hits and performances for the past 20 years!!! Every day there is a new kid on the block and tabloids read:SRK IS OVER...SRK KI BAADSHAHAT KHATM! But it never happens...leave the new kids,even the veterans have not been able to shake him....what happens ultimately is that the tabloids reaffirm that SRK is on the top...when you compare anyone to a single man every moment you end up reaffirming the worldwide view that SRK IS THE BEST!!!!
People raise a hue and cry over his acting capabilities and role repitition and character potrayal.....now read the arguements that follow!Before i begin answer me-is romantic movie no movie or is romantic role no role???? Ofcourse you can love a candyfloss hollywood romance but you can't praise a bollywood romantic flick!!! Double standards should i say?????????
SRK is the most emphatic romantic hero in the past 20 years and has mesmerised audiences with his emotions...his potrayals move audiences..i bet even his most ardent critics must have cried in ddlj/kkhh/k3g/khnh..........but they need to crib..so let them crib!!! Be it vicky malhotra of baazigar,be it the obsessive lover of darr,be it raj of ddlj,be it rahul of kkhh,or devdas or raj aryan or kabir khan..even suri...aman from khnh...suri from rnbdj....infidel husband from kank...and now rizwan khan....who the hell can say he only repeated his roles..of course he gained popularity from romantic ones!!Is that a crime!! People say he does not do meaningful cinema like the other khan...why should he...isn't entertaining audiences for 3 hours meaningful?And when he does meaningful roles they become history..be it swades which was literally loved by all...critics and junta alike...chak de-that became the sport anthem of the nation or rizwan khan that spread love and humanity transcending barriers!!!
On screen and off screen..he is just perfect..read his twitter statements and you will come to know he is a doting hubby and father coupled with the fact that he is a brand in himself makes him the most desirable star...of course someone said-'only srk and sex sell!' Quite true!DDLJ still running for 750 weeks now in maratha mandir....can any one else do that in bollywood...the day someone can do that..i'll apologise for writing this blog!PERIOD! Have you ever heard of any other bollywood actor who had a mass fan following not only in india but also in poland,germany,oman,syria,london,united states,russia,singapore,australia,new zealand........NO NO! referring the other khan..people in south india too fail to recognise him...infact the 'other khan' remarked during his promotional campaign for his movie when he was roaming in disguise-'in south when a man failed to recognise who i was..i had to ask him do you know amitabh bachchan/shahrukh khan? And the man in mahabalipuram had heard of them but not him!that shows the penetration of SRK...he is a brand in himself....a phenomenom..a powerhouse performer..a witty man...and a complete entertainer......he rules my life so much that after entering college i havnt missed any of his movie and have watched it first day first show!!!!!!!!
Infact to just update you on SRK'S acting capabilities....in the scene from kal ho na ho where preity gets to know saif and srk plans and is hurt..srk pulls out a diary from saif's pocket and reads it...all the dialogues were impromptu...they were born out of SRK'S mind then and there..the script never had such dialogues!!!! Had SRK not been the best BHANSALI would never choose him for a role earlier potrayed by the acting legend...abhinay samrat dilip kumar!!!
Best of Best directors from yash chopra to bahnsali to karan johar to aditya chopra to rakesh roshan to ashutosh gowarikar wouldn't have worked with him had he not been a superlative actor ...SRK is a time tested formula for box office successs!!!!
